All standard document types (.doc, .pdf, .zip etc.) can be managed using the Document Database. Keywords and categories can be assigned to every document, making it easy and convenient for users to find exactly what they are looking for. The Document Database has an extensive set of administration tools for attribute management.
Category administration allows documents to be categorized in any form and is the core of this module. Each document can be assigned to any number of categories.
To protect confidential content, transaction numbers (TANs) can be assigned to individual documents so that they can be viewed only by suitably authorized persons. A powerful search engine front-end offers users a wide selection of useful search options. The Document Database also maps out the categories defined, displaying all those areas that contain documents.
