The CONTENS Event Calendar is the simplest way to stay on top of things. The Event Calendar constantly displays the current month and date and lets you enter both appointments and time periods (e.g. for projects or vacations). You can also define all kinds of different ways of making entries. For instance, each editor can be authorized to make entries on behalf of all other editors; or only specific user groups can be permitted to see certain appointments.
Appointments can be assigned to different color-coded categories. All current events are then displayed in a list in the colors defined for their respective categories. The corresponding entries in the calendar itself appear in the same colors. All categories can of course be freely defined.
More information about a specific appointment can be obtained with a mouse-over function: simply moving the mouse over the appointment entry causes all additional details to be displayed in a pop-up window.
