The CONTENS Forum module enables any number of discussions dealing with different issues to operate in parallel. An individual description of each forum is provided on the start page to give users a clear idea of which forums might be most useful to them.
Within a given forum, website users can add new subjects open to discussion or submit replies to existing issues. The hierarchy of contributions to a discussion is indicated through indentation, so that the course of a discussion can be retraced at any time. In addition, registered users can subscribe to individual discussions and automatically receive new contributions per email. The system recognizes users with administrator rights and allows them to delete nonsense entries or make other changes directly in the forum using the EDIT and DELETE buttons.
