The object-translation workflow is a CONTENS enhancement that can make translation processes a whole lot easier and faster.
The editor sends the translator one task, for each language version of an object, per wizard. The translator receives his assignment per email through the CONTENS InfoCenter.
If the translator activates the link, he will receive a vertically split object window with the original content displayed across from the translation form. The page on which this object is installed is blocked for other users until the translator has finished the assignment. When the status of the translation is changed to 'completed', the translation manager is notified.
