Siemens' branch Mobility (form. Transportation Systems TS) branch now offers its customers a comprehensive online guide to the industry and its entire portfolio, including news, conference info and dates and career opportunities. The entire project is based on the CONTENS Web content management systemjust as the Siemens Mobility' multi-lingual intranet is built on CONTENS software. Siemens Mobility employees across the whole world use the intranet daily as a standardized information and communication platform.
While looking for a standardized content management platform, many signs pointed to CONTENS. One important point was CONTENS' ability to centrally administrate multiple online appearances with a single cms solution. Other criteria that led to the decision were the ease, with which roles and rights are allocated and the ability to create static and dynamic websites with clearly structured content.
